Description
The Wahalak tract is located northeast Kemper County near the Wahalak Community. It is northwest of Scooba and south of Shuqualak. It consists of 403 total acres which is entirely forested. It contains a mixture of 2/3s productive pine plantations, and 1/3 hardwood stands and stream side management zones. This makes for a balanced portfolio of an income producing timber investment and excellent recreational property. Recreational tracts have experienced steady price appreciation which is expected to continue as more people are looking for their own get-a-way spot. This tract is enhanced by the fact Wahalak Creek traverses the northern half of the property.
