The Hedrick Children Farmland Auction

The Hedrick Children Farmland Auction will offer 159 +/- surveyed acres in one tract, located 6 miles south of Rock Falls along Hoover (Highway 40) and Bell Road. The farm is improved with an 8-tower irrigation system and well, both included in the auction, along with additional drainage tile installed in 2011 and 2021. There are 143.52 FSA cropland acres carrying a soil PI of 105.5, of which 131.21 aces are irrigated. Approximately 6.5 acres are enrolled in CRP with an annual payment of $1,752 that expires in September 2026. There is no buyer’s premium being charged and open tenancy for the 2026 crop year. The farm will be offered in a Virtual-Live Online Only Auction on Thursday, February 17th, at 10:00 AM. Bids can be made online by registering through the First Mid Ag Service’s mobile app or firstmidag.bidwrangler.com. Prebidding will be available February 3rd with the live call beginning at 10 AM, February 17th.
