It is situated in northeastern Franklin County about 10 miles west of Brookhaven. A January 2024 timber inventory of the merchantable forest acres showed the following timber volumes: Pine Sawtimber: 1703 tons Pine chip-n-saw: 1232 tons Pine pulpwood: 4211 tons Oak sawtimber: 587 tons Misc Hdwd saw: 320 tons Hardwood pulp: 672 tons The timber volumes have increased by one growing season since the inventory.
