Agricultural land with possible building sites. Bounded by Lick Creek. We've used it for hay for years, but you could do cow/calf or other livestock. This is bottom land that occasionally floods in part but drains quickly. Perfect for certain crops. In the green belt. Lots of hardwoods, wild garlic and other forage that attract birds and deer.
2 miles from exit 36 (Baileyton/Greeneville) on 1-81 via N Wesley Chapel and Baileyton Road.
Just a few hundred feet from historic Wesley Chapel. "The Old Brick Church" was built in 1797, destroyed by fire in 1880, then rebuilt by many of the descendants of the first church. Wood for this second church came from the Tennessee Century Farm, Hoodley Creek, which currently owns and farms this outlying parcel.
UPDATE 8/5/25: Path for viewing has been bushogged around property, so it can now be shown. We've still reserved sections for hay, but perimeter and some inroads have been cut. Please contact me to set up a showing.
UPDATE 8/21/25: New pix and video! Just after the rains yesterday!
