Currently in wheat, the farm maps show 151 acres of cropland with the balance
in an old homestead and a grassed water way. The homestead is in a beautiful area
with trees and there is also electricity at the homestead. Just south of the homestead
there is a water well that is used to produce livestock water and another water well
that is powered by a windmill. This is good, dark soil with largely a Carey Silt Loam
and 26% of the farm soil is a St. Paul Silt Loam. This land has blacktop county road
frontage and county road on its west side. The location has easy access to Highway
270 taking you back to Woodward going west or to Seiling going east, all on blacktop
county roads and state highways. The town of Mutual has a Junior High and High
School, a Post Office, and is a great place to live.
