Stoxland Hunting Club is a world-class sporting property. Having been meticulously maintained and improved by the current members, this tract offers excellent hunting for Arkansas's big three game species - ducks, deer, and turkey. At 401.73 surveyed acres, Stoxland Hunting Club comprises roughly 300 acres of bottomland timber and 100 acres of upland and precision leveled ground. Of that, 100+/- acres, about 80 acres have been graded, and 55+/- acres can be flooded for ducks using a water-control structure. There are a total of four water-control structures that can be used for both flooding the field and some timber. The remainder of the timber is flooded seasonally with the rise of Cypress Bayou from fall rains.
One of the most important components of this tract is the bridge crossing Cypress Bayou. Cypress Bayou is known for its swift current, making bridge construction nearly impossible. Yet, a large portion of the property would be inaccessible without a bridge. The current owners constructed the existing bridge over two years ago using a repurposed cotton module baler and fifty 4,000-pound concrete blocks as a foundation and retaining wall. Combine this with over 20 loads of gravel for roads, several established shooting holes in the timber, multiple Redneck deer stands, and a lodge site sitting behind a gate, Stoxland Hunting Club has seen significant infrastructure improvements over the years.
The quality of hunting at Stoxland is extremely high. In the 22/23 season, an estimate 350 ducks were harvested. In the 23/24 season, they harvested approximately 400 birds. A 152" deer was also taken on the property in the past two years, and on top of this, there are two flocks of turkeys on the property. A dove field was planted last year, and over 500 doves were bagged. This property is a sportsperson's paradise.
